Please find below key information you will need this summer, to ensure a smooth transition into our Sixth Form.

GCSE Results and Sixth Form Enrolment - Thursday 22nd August 2024
Once you have collected your GCSE results, it is time to officially confirm your place and enrol with us onsite. Enrolment takes place in our Drama Studio (for external students, please use the Sports Centre entrance).

Important: Please bring with you a physical paper copy of your GCSE results
- If your GCSE results match the conditions of your Sixth Form offer, you will be able to meet and enrol immediately with a member of the Sixth Form team who will be available in the Drama Studio.
- If your GCSE results do not match your conditional Sixth Form offer, you will need to meet with a member of the Sixth Form team to discuss your Sixth Form subject choices and the possibility of enrolling on alternative A level/Level 3 courses with us. Every effort will be made to find a suitable curriculum pathway for you in the Sixth Form at Cheltenham Bournside School.
- Note: If you are not picking up your GCSE results in person, you will need to have a nominated person who can pick up your GCSE results on your behalf and enrol in the Sixth Form in person on your behalf on GCSE results day.
The Sixth Form team will also be available to discuss Sixth Form subject choices and for enrolment between 9am and 12pm on Friday 23rd August 2024.
We must stress that Sixth Form enrolment begins at 9am on Thursday 22nd August 2024. Since certain courses could potentially be oversubscribed and/or have a restricted number of places, it is possible that some courses will fill up quickly and we will be unable to offer you a space on your requested course. In this instance, every effort will be made to try and find an alternative subject choice.
Summer Bridging Work
In preparation for you starting with us in the Sixth Form on Wednesday 4th September, please complete the Summer Bridging Work - Cheltenham Bournside School, set by your Sixth Form teachers. This work includes written work and pre-reading that will help you prepare for your A Level and alternative Level 3 studies. Please bring this work in with you in September, to discuss with your teachers.
