Transition - New Year 7s
Hello, Year 6 families!
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to Cheltenham Bournside School in September - you've made a great choice! Our Transition webpage is where you can find out what it is like to be a part of our wonderful school. We will be sharing the details of our Transition Week, our expectations of Year 7 students, uniform information, important dates and lots more.
From April, you will receive a monthly Transition Bulletin via email, sent to the parent/guardian email address we have on record. This will also be shared on this webpage.
Lottie, our school welfare dog, belongs to me. She is a popular part of our pastoral team and has a calming influence on many students (of all ages!) and works with individual students and small groups, always raising a smile.
If you'd like to get in touch, please email transition@bournside.gloucs.sch.uk. We'd be happy to help.
We cannot wait to meet you!
Sally Groves
Assistant Headteacher, DSL and Transition Lead

At Cheltenham Bournside School we expect the highest standards from our students and this includes their personal presentation and preparation for the school day. Our uniform gives Bournside school its identity and it is worn with pride. To maintain high standards, our uniform guides clearly outline our expectations to ensure every student feels part of our community, are equipped and ready to learn, and make the best impression to everyone they meet.
