Headteacher, Gareth Burton, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that our year 13 students have performed so well across such a wide range of subjects, enabling them to make the next step in their lives, with almost all students now being able to accept the offer they have from their respective university, apprenticeship provider or employer.”

“I am particularly pleased with the increase in each of our key performance measures, with close to half of all grades awarded now being an A*, A or B and almost one in every five grades being an A* or A.”

“The results reflect the individual determination and commitment of our students, alongside the professionalism and expertise of our teaching and non-teaching staff and the constant support from students’ parents/carers and wider families.”

“In addition to our regular A Levels, this year we have also seen outstanding performances from our year 13 students who sat an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and achieved very highly, with 70% of these grades being an A* or an A.”
