School Parliament

On Friday 6th March, our students met for their inaugural Bournside Student Parliament session. Students from all years represented the 6 ministries which contribute to the whole School Parliament:

  • Community
  • Culture
  • Wellbeing
  • Equality
  • Learning
  • Facilities.

Students presented their work and progress so far this year and discussed important matters and future projects. Mr Saundry, Lead for Student Leadership said: “This was a great event for the students to show the passion and commitment they have in representing their fellow students and improving their school. It was fantastic to hear about all the amazing work they have done and what they have achieved. The School Parliament is a great way for students to have their voice heard and the ministries have had a huge positive impact on the school.”
